The evaluation of developments related to the active advising process and the information and guidance activities for students within the scope of the Spring Semester of the 2025-2026 Academic Year were carried out by the department's active advisors according to the following agenda items:

Overview of the Advising Process
Advising duties and responsibilities were reminded to the students, and it was emphasized that the process is based on mutual communication and guidance. Students' expectations from their advisors were listened to and noted.
Evaluation of the Academic Calendar and Processes
Final exam dates were shared, and students were informed about the timely completion of necessary preparations for assignments, reports, and practical exams.
Internship Processes
Reminders were given regarding the process for students with internship obligations, and the submission dates and procedures for relevant documents were explained.
Analysis of Absence and Academic Performance
Students in the risk group due to absenteeism or low performance were identified, and advising support was suggested to improve the academic performance of these students. Encouraging Participation in Academic and Scientific Activities
The importance of active participation in departmental, university-wide, and external activities was emphasized to students; they were informed about competitions such as TÜBİTAK and TEKNOFEST and encouraged to pursue these areas.
Evaluation of Feedback and Student Requests
Problems students encountered in academic and administrative processes were listened to, and solutions were developed. Opinions regarding the education and training process were evaluated.
Participation in Surveys
Students were reminded of the importance of Bologna course surveys and Active Advising surveys, and their participation in the surveys was encouraged.
Closing and Question-Answer Session
The meeting was evaluated generally, and students' individual questions were answered. It was stated that one-on-one counseling could be provided if necessary.
