NOHUTOK2026 Completed!

The second annual NOHUTOK Student Congress, organized by the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technologies at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, with the participation of the Agricultural Genetic Engineering, Plant Production and Technologies, Animal Production and Technologies, and Biosystems Engineering departments, was successfully held on June 3-4, 2026.

This event, where final-year students presented their graduation theses, transforming the theoretical and practical knowledge they acquired during their undergraduate studies into scientific research, provided an extremely productive environment for academic sharing and interaction. During the congress, in various departmental sessions, students had the opportunity to share the aims, methods, and innovative findings they obtained regarding current problems in agriculture in detail with faculty members and other participants.

In the question-and-answer and evaluation sessions that followed the presentations, faculty members provided students with guiding feedback aimed at strengthening the scientific quality of their research, improving methods, and developing presentation techniques. This comprehensive congress, which increased the visibility of undergraduate scientific studies, It has significantly contributed to students developing a research culture, strengthening their scientific communication and discussion skills, increasing their motivation, and preparing them much better for their professional and academic lives after graduation.
