Course Objective
It searches when a human behavior constitutes a criminal offense and what are the sanctions and consequently interpret the general provisions of the Turkish Criminal Law.
Brief Content of the Course
Definition of Criminal Law, Principles of Criminal Law, Sources of Criminal Law, Applications Respect to Place, Time and People, General Theory of Crime (Elements of Crimes), Victim, Offender, The Features, Types and Objects of Punishment, Consequences of Criminal Convictions, Postponement and Determination of Punishment, Giving Back to Legal Rights, Safety Precautions.The reflection of "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions", one of the sustainable development goals, on criminal law is explained.
