Course Objective
The goal of this course is to provide students with comprehensive information about the theories of money and to stress the importance of money in economies.
Brief Content of the Course
Explaining the monetary theory and money policy, descriptions of the quantity of money, monetary regimes and their fundamental principles, the theory of the demand and supply of money, theories of interest, balance of payments and the quantity of money, the neoclassical approach, Keynesian macro approaches, the neoclassical synthesis, the monetarist approach , neo-Keynesians
