Course Objective
Teaching basic music knowledge, rhythm training, understanding the place and importance of music in education and the relationship between music and education, game-music-dance-drama practices, music teaching methods and approaches within a general framework that will support children's cognitive, affective and psycho-motor development, developing musical appreciation, developing self-confidence and creativity, enabling them to have a different perspective, conducting the National Anthem.
Brief Content of the Course
Choosing and analyzing appropriate songs for children's ages and development, criteria to be considered when choosing children's songs, analyzing children's songs, sight-reading exercises on children's songs, teaching basic concepts in music through drama or games and understanding how to teach them, teaching and applying graphic notation, ensuring the active and appropriate use of Orff instruments, body and classroom materials, gaining and increasing classroom harmony and confidence through individual or group work, and building a repertoire that they can use throughout their careers.
