Course Objective
This course is designed to enable students to develop a software application from start to finish on a specific topic. During the semester, students will complete the system analysis, design, development and testing phases by conducting applied studies, and students will experience the process with a project-oriented approach.
Brief Content of the Course
This course aims to teach students the fundamental stages of the system development process. At the beginning of the course, students select a project topic related to their field and initiate the system analysis process. Based on the chosen topic, the operational environment of the system is analyzed, and the required data and data types are identified. During this phase, students work on how to present the collected information and determine the system's key components. Next, the algorithm and flowchart of the project are created to establish the logical structure of the system. A suitable development environment is set up, and the software development process begins. At this stage, the core components of the project are coded and tested. Based on the findings, improvements and refinements are made to enhance the system’s functionality. In the later weeks of the course, students present their projects and receive feedback, allowing them to refine their systems for better efficiency. In the final stage, the installation package for the project is prepared, and a comprehensive report covering all phases of development is created. By the end of the course, students will have hands-on experience with system analysis and design, gaining essential skills in software development by completing a full project from start to finish.
