Course Objective
To be able to comprehend the foundations, models and theories, technology and applications of open and distance education, to offer solutions to their problems, and to develop effective distance education environments in accordance with theoretical foundations.

Fundamental concepts and philosophy of open and distance learning; development of distance education in the world; development of distance education in Türkiye; roles of learner and guide in distance education; technologies used in distance education; management of open and distance education; classroom management and its components in open and distance learning; open educational resources and trends in the world; massive open online courses; personalized learning environments; problems and their solutions related to open and distance education; open and distance education applications in teacher training; individualized teaching material development and student support services in open and distance education; research and evaluation in distance education.
