1Explain and illustrate the historical development, classification, and industrial uses of economically important plants.
2Explain and apply plant cell and tissue culture techniques, secondary metabolite production, and large-scale culture practices.
3Compare and evaluate bioreactor systems and the production processes of industrial compounds such as shikonin, saponins, taxol, and capsaicin.
4Explain and interpret plant-based alcohol and biofuel production methods and their biotechnological potential.
5Develop awareness of the economic, industrial, and ecological impacts of plant-based production processes.
