1Understanding the relationship between hydrological cycle and water balance of the earth
2Learning information about hydrological cycle components
3To be skilled in collection, measurement, analysis and calculation methods of hydrological data
4To gain skills evaluating hydrological data to use them designing engineering structures
5To understand the problems related to the sustainable use of water resources
6Explains the processes of precipitation, evaporation, runoff and infiltration and specifies analysis methods.
7Uses the hydrological knowledge acquired in water resources planning.
