Course Objective
This course aims to learn the Biophysical concepts encountered in Dentistry, Physics principles regarding diagnosis and treatment methods and devices at a basic level, and to enable students to achieve gains in these subjects.
Brief Content of the Course
Biophysics and System Definition, Measurement, Scale, Error, Force Vectors, Rotational Moment, Statics, Mechanics of the Musculoskeletal System, Stress, Strain, Energy, Matter, Thermodynamics, Biophysical events in the cell, Bioelectric measurement, observation and application tools, circulation and respiration biophysics, Biological receptors, Radiation biophysics, Basic principles of medical imaging methods, Laser beams and their use in medicine
