Course Objective
1-To provide information about the purpose and scope of the Occupational Health and Safety law applied in workplaces and the follow-up of legal legislation, 2. To ensure that they learn basic theoretical information about the historical development of Occupational Health and Safety in the world and in our country, the concept of occupational safety, and the duties, powers and responsibilities of employers and employees towards ensuring occupational health and safety, 3. To ensure that the employer and the employee in a business learn basic information about their rights and obligations in the workplace, 4. Providing information about the causes and consequences of work accidents and occupational diseases and the work that can be done to prevent them
Brief Content of the Course
The concept of Occupational Health and Safety, its historical development, national and international standards, possible danger in workplaces, Physical, Biological and Chemical Risk factors, definitions of work accidents and occupational diseases that may occur in workplaces, dangerous movements and dangerous situations, causes of work accidents, etc. Identifying situations that may affect human health and learning the measures to take precautions.
