11. Identify and evaluate oral and dental health problems seen in the elderly, and develop appropriate treatment methods.
2 2. Understand the effects of aging on oral and dental health (tooth loss, root caries, periodontal disease, dry mouth and denture use, changes in chewing function with aging, and nutritional deficiencies).
33. Understand the effects of systemic diseases on oral health (conditions such as polypharmacy, diabetes, heart disease, and osteoporosis).
44. Learn about dental treatment approaches in the elderly (restorative approaches, prosthesis planning, and minimally invasive techniques). .
