To teach complication management by applying the principles of open surgery. Identify Oral Infections and Pathologies To diagnose lesions such as abscesses, cysts, and granulomas and to teach appropriate surgical treatment methods. To Introduce Impacted Teeth and Jaw Surgery Techniques To teach the surgical approaches to maxillary and mandibular impacted teeth and the points to be considered in these procedures. To Provide Management of Dentoalveolar Traumas To evaluate dental traumas in children and adults and determine the appropriate surgical approaches. To Teach Surgical Approach in Systemic Diseases To plan surgical procedures safely in patients with cardiovascular, endocrine, nephrological and respiratory systems. Teaching Surgical Pharmacology and Antibiotic Use To provide students with an understanding of pre- and post-surgical medication use, antibiotic prophylaxis, and prescribing principles. To Prepare Students for Clinical Practice To apply the acquired theoretical knowledge to clinical practice and enable students to improve themselves in surgical procedures. |
