Course Objectives 
1The student gains knowledge about potential complications that may arise during or after endodontic treatment and how to manage them.
2The ability to understand in which cases root canal treatment should be completed in a single visit or multiple visits.
3Learning the relationship between endodontics and the fields of periodontology and orthodontics.
4Having comprehensive knowledge about internal and external root resorptions, their etiologies, and treatments.
5Being able to understand and apply the approaches and treatment options for patients with trauma.
6Having knowledge about the use of lasers in root canal treatments.
7Being able to evaluate the success or failure of root canal treatments, accurately determine the indication for retreatment—a more advanced procedure— effectively.
8Being able to demonstrate knowledge about the currently used nickel-titanium file systems.
9Being able to have knowledge about advanced endodontic treatments, such as regenerative therapies.
