Course Objective
Digital signal processing becomes a indispensable area in electronic engineering applications. The purpose of this course is to introduce senior students to the hardware implementation of digital signal processing algorithms on FPGA and DSP. The course will cover the title such as review of basic concepts in digital signals processing, microprocessors and digital signal processor design. Finite precision effects, Implementation of DSP algorithms on hardware platform such as FIR filtering, IIR filtering, FFT computation, LPC analysis etc on FPGA
