Learning Outcomes Of the Course 
ÖÇ1The student defines and distinguishes between basic concepts related to measurement and evaluation.
ÖÇ2The student understands the qualities that measurement tools should possess (validity, reliability, and usability).
ÖÇ3The student distinguishes between the assessment tools used in education and their characteristics.
ÖÇ4The student applies basic statistical operations to measurement results.
ÖÇ5The student evaluates the learning outcomes.
ÖÇ6Knows the meaning of reliability, explains reliability estimation methods and gives examples.
ÖÇ7Defines validity and explains content validity.
ÖÇ8Knows the test development stages.
ÖÇ9Students prepare various types of test questions (multiple choice, true-false, short-answer, open-ended, etc.) appropriately for the purpose of the assessment. They correct any incorrect questions in accordance with the item writing principles.
ÖÇ10The student analyzes the data obtained from the measurement tools with basic statistical techniques (mode, median, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, coefficient of relative variation, variance, range), calculates the difficulty and discrimination indices of the test items and makes comments based on these results.
