Course Objective
Corrosion losses highlight the importance of economic and social aspects, to determine the mechanism of corrosion of scientific foundations, corrosion chemistry and associate with other disciplines, students gain a perspective on corrosion.
Brief Content of the Course
Basic principles of corrosion, chemical and electrochemical corrosion is based on thermodynamic, kinetic and electrochemical corrosion, corrosion types, atmospheric corrosion, aqueous corrosion environment, corrosions in soil, for corrosion protection methods, inhibitors of protection, the detection of inhibitory effects of general principles, mechanisms and classification of inhibitors, the prevention of corrosion inhibitors in neutral and acidic electrolytes, the methods applied for the detection of inhibitory activity, cathodic protection, cathodic protection principles.
