Course Objective
The aim of this course is to teach and enable hearing-impaired individuals to use a visual language created by hand gestures and facial expressions when communicating with each other and with other individuals.
Brief Content of the Course
Sign language in the world and in Turkey; Turkish Sign Language and its characteristics; letters, definitions and usage; signs related to oneself; signs related to the environment; sentence construction; numbers and mathematical signs; Turkish Sign Language grammar concepts; conversational interaction in Turkish Sign Language.
