1Define pulmonary rehabilitation and acquire detailed knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system.
2Define the pathophysiology and symptoms of obstructive lung diseases.
3Define the pathophysiology and symptoms of restrictive lung diseases.
4Define and apply objective and subjective assessment methods used in pulmonary rehabilitation.
5Define and apply treatment methods used in pulmonary rehabilitation.
6Define and apply exercise testing and exercise training in pulmonary rehabilitation.
7Define and perform post-surgical pulmonary rehabilitation procedures.
8Assess the respiratory system and develop treatment programs for lung involvement in various neurological and systemic diseases.
9Learn and apply respiratory assistive devices, oxygen systems, and suctioning.
10Learn and apply current approaches to pulmonary rehabilitation.
