Course Objective
It is among the desired results and expectations of the education in question that the student learns the technical properties of paints, perceives the conditions under which the phenomenon and quality that turns his work into a product of art, and internalizes it. It is also aimed to reflect sustainability in practices.
Brief Content of the Course
Dyes: Pigments, Dyes, Effect of light on paints. Paint Binders: Natural binders, Artificial binders, Thinners and solvents; Brushes: Features and usage areas of brushes; Painting Grounds: Canvas preparation is among the course contents. Additionally, implementation studies are carried out on the concept of sustainability.
