Course Objective
To learn the Ottoman tafsir literature and the contribution of the commentators of this period to the interpretation of the Qur'an.
Brief Content of the Course
In this course, the contribution of the Ottoman period exegetes to the science of tafsir in the history of tafsir and the introduction of the exegetes who grew up in Anatolia, reading sample texts from their works.
