Course Objective
To evaluate the controversial events that emerged in the critical periods of Islamic history in the light of different sources and interpretations. By introducing the methodological problems encountered in historiography, it is aimed to provide students with a critical view of Islamic history and to gain the ability to analyze the background of political, social and sectarian differentiation in a historical context.
