Course Objective
To know the system requirements of multi storey steel structures, to have knowledge of the solution of column-beam joint details by analyzing the system.
Brief Content of the Course
The system properties of multi storey steel structures, structural system selection, load analysis and solution of the system with the help of a computer program, the selection of columns, beams and floor and sizing of these elements, the horizontal stiffness requirements and provide the horizontal stiffness.
