Course Objective
To know the basic principles of earthquake-resistant design of reinforced concrete buildings, the calculation methods of earthquake forces, the identification of structural damage and the strengthening methods of damaged structures
Brief Content of the Course
Earthquake motion, vibration of structure under the influence the ground motion , structural element behavior under earthquake effect, earthquake resistant design, obtain damages after the earthquake in the buildings, repair and strengthening methods, evaluation of seismic behaviour of existing buildings under earthquake
