Course Objective
Basic Concepts of Vibration, Classification of Vibration, Modeling of vibration in mechanical systems, Methods for reducing mechanical vibration in mechanical systems.
Brief Content of the Course
Basic Concepts of Vibration, Classification of Vibration, Newton's Laws of motion, The motion equation of the system and free vibration, Response of a Undamped System, Response of a Damped System. Systems with two or more degrees of freedom and frequency analysis. Failures caused by vibrations and the methods of vibration protection.
