3Application of the First Law of Thermodynamics to closed systems
4Knowledge of the thermodynamic analysis of control volumes
5Statement of the Second Law of Thermodynamics
6Knowledge of thermal energy reservoirs, heat engines, reversible and irreversible processes, the Carnot cycle and its principles, and the Carnot heat and refrigeration engines
7Knowledge of the concept of entropy, the principle of entropy increase, and entropy changes of ideal gases
