Course Objective
Basic engineering design and strength calculations are intended to be taught. This will explain the importance of resistance to students and for this purpose; Stress and strain concepts and basic engineering design knowledge will be given. In addition, students will be able to solve the problems of hyperstatics and design skills. Performing sustainable designs.
Brief Content of the Course
Stress and unit deformation concepts and types. Axial loading. Hitting. Internal forces, shear force and bending moment diagrams. Stress and strain transformations. Composite Stresses and Strength Theories. Beam and Shaft Design according to the requirements. Calculation of Elastic Curve by using double integration, moment field method and energy methods. Applying sustainable design principles.
