Course Objective
Introducing the factors that affect daylight illumination and revealing the interaction between daylight and architectural design.
Brief Content of the Course
Sustainable integrated lighting design, illuminance level and measurement, light reflecting and transmitting properties of objects, factors on which daylight illumination depends, properties of the sun and the sky, properties of obstacles outside the volume, properties of the window, properties of the volume, the effect of vertical and horizontal window properties on the quantity and distribution of natural illumination, daylight systems, windows design and applications for light shelf design

1. To gain the ability of natural lighting design by using the basic information about the topic of daylight utilization.
