Course Objective
Enough knowledge of those who work with people and manage them about people and human behavior is important in terms of a healthy organizational structure, human motivation and work efficiency. It is very difficult to predict the behaviors of the people in different institutions, organizations or enterprises. Because people's needs and value systems are diferent from each other. Despite these difficulties, the probability of understanding and predicting behaviors of people is very high by means of behavioral sciences By this course, It is aimed to understand the individual and group behaviour of personnel working in institutions or enterprises, to motivate hem according to these information and to steer them about human relations and behaviours. In addition, it is aimed to contribute the understanding of managers about the causes of human behavious and the effects of these behaviours to the enterprises.
Brief Content of the Course
The area of course are; the development of behavioral sciences, the definition, application area, importance of it in enterprises units forming behavioral sciences, the basic concepts of the behavioral sciences, culture and cultural change, social influence and moral behavior, social structure and social relations, social institutions in the establishment of the system, learning, perception, social groups , emotional intelligence, personality and self, attitudes and prejudice, interpersonal communication, defense mechanisms and adjustment problems, behavioral disorders, motivation, coping with stress and leadership in behavioral sciences

1 : to put forth the reasons of behaviours of employees who are the basic sources of organizations 2 : to come to enough level in management of employee about the factors effecting productivity or organizational success 3 : to make understand the basic consepts of organizational behaviour 4 : to make understand the importance of human-being in organizations by gaining theorical and practical point of view about organizational behaviour 5 : to analyze the effect of internal and external environmental factors on the behaviours of managers and employees 6 : to tell the importance of individual's psychological features in working life 7 : to make aware of the effect of interaction between organization and individual on working life and productivity 8 : to make understand the formation and operation of behavioral phenomenon that are valid in terms of business management 9 : to provide equipped with necessary information about selecting the most appropriate behaviour style boout business environment 10 : to gain effective leadership skills 11 : to decide the ways of contributing to the efficiency and productivity of the enterprise by teaching the effective motivation technics 12 : to gain the ways of overcoming the subjects that reduce the efficiency of organization and its employees such as stress and conflict 13 : to increase the skills of effective communication 14 : to put forth the effect of organizational culture on employee behaviour 15 : to specialize on how the different groups of the enterprise will be managed
