Course Objective
Educational Purpose of the Vocational Mathematics Course in the Fashion Design Program of the Department of Design: The purpose of the Vocational Mathematics course is to provide fashion design candidates with basic mathematics, geometry, probability and statistics, to enable them to better understand the subjects in vocational courses and to provide them with the ability to use this information effectively in their professional lives.
Brief Content of the Course
Cluster, Numbers, Decimal Fractions, Unit Conversion, Equation Concept, Concept of Inequality, The Concept of Algebra, Polynomials and polynomial Concept of Operations, Ratio and Proportion Concepts and Applications, Basic Geometry, Polygons, Circle and Triangle, Coordinate Systems, Geometric Fields, Conics, Determination of possible states, Probability of events, statistical definition.
