Course Objective
The aim of this course is to instil safe working practices in students in a laboratory environment, introduce them to basic laboratory equipment and glassware, enable them to apply sample collection and basic analysis techniques, and equip them with the ability to systematically record and report the data obtained.
Brief Content of the Course
This course covers laboratory safety, introduction to and use of basic laboratory equipment and instruments, basic measurement and solution preparation techniques, simple separation and analysis methods, sample preparation and storage, and data recording and reporting.
