Recognizing civilizations that emerged in the oldest periods of human history, learning the development of human history according to archaeological data, evaluating underground civilization data in ancient times
Brief Content of the Course
Definition of archeology, field of study, methods used, archaeological dating; exploring different past experiences of humanity (shelter, nutrition, trade, technology, etc.); Important archaeological centers discovered in Turkey and in the world (Çatalhöyük, Troy, Hattusa, etc.); examples of famous foreign and Turkish archaeologists and their important works.
