1To be able to explain the basic concepts, theoretical approaches and historical development of the sociology of space.
2To be able to comparatively analyze the spatial theories of theorists such as Pierre Bourdieu, Henri Lefebvre, David Harvey.
3To be able to critically examine the relationships between social structure, class, gender, identity and space.
4To be able to evaluate urbanization, urban transformation and spatial justice debates in Turkey from a sociological perspective.
5Ability to conduct academic research, literature review, field observation and case analysis.
6To be able to apply theoretical knowledge to practical examples through seminar presentations, discussions and field studies.
