Course Objective
Turkish Art Music(TAM): The aim of this course is to make students have knowledge in the field of Turkish music solfege and theory and to make the notes for the authorities to be taught in this semester literate. Turkish Folk Music(TFM): This course aims to make students have knowledge in the field of Turkish Folk Music solfege and theory and to make the students literate.
Brief Content of the Course
TAM: This course; Information about the compound makams (Şehnaz, Nikris, Neveser and Acem makams) and ŞED makams (Nihavend, Acemaşiran and Şedaraban makams) will be given. Solfege and analysis works will be done on the instrument forms which are composed in these makams. TFM: This derste, general music information, Turkish Folk music sound systems, change signs, sound sequences, series (foot) concept, the sounds on the strings (Stallion-strong-body), general sequence description, general description and classification of procedures in Turkish Folk Music, 2-3-4 timed main procedures, and information about Kerem, Garip, La Misget sequences.
