Course Objective
The aim of this course is to help students understand the emergence, development, and interactions of major civilizations throughout human history. Students will examine political, economic, cultural, and scientific developments across time. The course teaches how to analyze intercivilizational interactions and processes of change. It also raises awareness of how civilizations have influenced sustainable social and environmental practices.
Brief Content of the Course
The course explores the history of key civilizations, including Mesopotamia, Ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, Islamic, and Chinese civilizations.
