Course Objective
The aim of the strengthening course is to evaluate existing structures, explain the principles and methods of repair and improvement of structures, and gain competence in selecting and applying strengthening methods and techniques of structures.
Brief Content of the Course
Reasons and techniques for repairing or strengthening structures. Repair and strengthening of reinforced concrete structures. Repair and strengthening groups. Work to be done on structures in earthquake zones and precautions to be taken. Materials used in repair and strengthening and techniques of use.
