Course Objective
This course aims to promote awareness of universal design principles that ensure equal access for all individuals to the built environment, and to apply these principles in architectural and environmental design processes.
Brief Content of the Course
This course aims to draw attention to different users and their needs in design, to question the concept of disability, to draw attention to design criteria that will facilitate participation in social life, especially for people with disabilities and the elderly, and to understand accessibility criteria and their importance for users.
