Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Training
A "Robotic Process Automation (RPA) - Robotic Process Automation (RSO) Training" was carried out online in cooperation with Doğuş Teknoloji, Ayhan Şahenk Foundation, and our Faculty.
The training, delivered by Mr. Oğuz KARAÇUR, Senior Intelligent Automation Specialist from Doğuş Teknoloji, was attended by our faculty students and academic staff.
Training Topics Covered
The following topics were discussed during the training: "What is RPA?", "What are Examples of RPA Usage?", "RPA Career Journey," and "Intelligent Automation at Doğuş."
What is RPA?
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) refers to software robots (bots) used to automate repetitive, rule-based business processes. Bots interact with the interfaces of existing systems, just like a human. The main goal is to free employees from routine and tedious tasks, allowing them to focus on more strategic work.
Usage Examples
RPA is used in many areas such as Finance, HR, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
Finance: Invoice processing, bank reconciliation.
HR: On-boarding, payroll data entry.
Customer Service: Request processing, automatic response generation.
Supply Chain: Automatic entry of orders into the system, transfer of supplier information.
Career Journey
Various career opportunities exist in the RPA sector. Key roles include:
RPA Developer: Designs, codes (using tools like UiPath, AA, Blue Prism), and tests the bots.
RPA Business Analyst: Identifies and analyzes processes suitable for automation and documents the requirements.
RPA Solution Architect: Designs the enterprise automation strategy and infrastructure.
The training subsequently continued with a discussion of the systems used within Doğuş Teknoloji and career planning. The event concluded after answering participants' questions.
