general-info The primary aim of the Graphic Arts Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts is to equip students with the necessary intellectual knowledge, technical skills, and artistic vision throughout its eight-semester program. In addition, it is expected that students will develop their own artistic perspectives, possess analytical thinking skills, synthesize and reason, understand the realities of their time, and express artistic problems in an original language. Furthermore, they are expected to specialize in theoretical fields such as art philosophy, art sociology, and art theories, and contribute to research. The greatest advantage will be to cultivate student-centered individuals who are open to scientific thinking, possess unique identities, are inquisitive, innovative, and creative; and to train aspiring artists who participate in artistic activities both nationally and internationally, and to contribute these candidates to the art scene in our country and the world. The Graphic Arts Department has 3 Assistant Professors and 1 Research Assistant. The academic staff of the Graphic Arts Department can be accessed via the academic staff link on the Graphic Arts Department page. The Graphic Arts Department admitted its first undergraduate students in the 2025-2026 academic year through a special talent examination.
