Course Objective
The purpose of this course is to develop an understanding in students in terms of philosophical, social, psychological, and historical aspects, and to introduce the process and problems of the curriculum development.
Brief Content of the Course
Basic concepts of curriculum development; theoretical foundations of curriculum development; program types; philosophical, social, historical, psychological and economic foundations of curriculum; characteristics of curriculum development and curriculum; stages of program development; the basic elements of the program (goal, content, process, evaluation) and the relationships between the elements; classification of objectives and their relationship to program components; content editing approaches; identifying training needs; program development process and models; curriculum design approaches; program evaluation models; program literacy; duties and responsibilities of teachers in the development of curriculum; Characteristics of MoNE curriculum; implementation of curriculum; new approaches and trends in software development in the world and Turkey. The relationship between sustainable development and education.
