Faculty members from Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry organized an informative seminar at Bor Atatürk Secondary School with the aim of increasing students’ awareness of oral and dental health.

The seminar was delivered by Lecturer Hande Çakmak from the Department of Prosthodontics and Lecturer Arife Hüsna Yıldız from the Department of Restorative Dentistry. During the session, students were provided with comprehensive information on the importance of oral and dental health, proper tooth brushing techniques, the necessity of regular dental check-ups, and the impact of healthy nutrition on dental well-being.

Basic information on dental health was conveyed to students through interactive presentations, and the topics were reinforced using various visuals and practical demonstrations. Students' questions were also answered by the lecturers, further enhancing awareness.

The administration and teachers of Bor Atatürk Secondary School expressed their gratitude to the university officials and participating lecturers for organizing such a meaningful event.

Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Faculty of Dentistry stated that through such social responsibility projects, they aim to reach all segments of society and raise awareness about oral and dental health.
