The district of Çamardı hosted an exemplary project aimed at strengthening social solidarity and social cohesion. Under the leadership of the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi Social Contribution Coordination Office, and in cooperation with the Faculties of Medicine and Dentistry, the Young Earth Doctors Student Club, the Çamardı Kaymakamlığı, and the Çamardı Birlik ve Dayanışma Derneği, a comprehensive event was organized as part of the “Sports for Social Cohesion Project.”

During the program, awards, trophies, and various gifts were presented to athletes who ranked in the competitions as well as to all participants. The enthusiasm and joy of the athletes added special meaning to the event.

The activity, which supported social solidarity and local development, was highly appreciated by the residents of the district. As a Faculty, we take pride and satisfaction in participating in such initiatives that prioritize public health and promote social cohesion.

We extend our sincere thanks to our Rector, Hasan Uslu, for his valuable support, as well as to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Hanifi Korkoca, our Chief Physician of the Faculty of Dentistry, Kevser Kurt Demirsoy, and our Social Contribution Coordinator, Bilal Çilkaya, together with the members of the board.

We also express our gratitude to the District Governor of Çamardı, Muhammet Furkan Bektaş, for his kind hospitality and support, and to the President and Board Members of the Çamardı Birlik ve Dayanışma Derneği for their valuable contributions to the project.
